Spot Fake Jennings Slot Machines

Postby davidcoplansky » Mon Jul 31, 2006 9:41 am

Hello collectors!

There is very few information on Jennings reproduction slot machines.

I am aware that Nevada Club, Jennings Prospector and Standard Chief were copied at some point.

Has anyone seeing other Jennings reproduction models?

Any information on companies that made these copies?

Lack of information makes it more difficult to spot models sold as original.......

Were the Sun Chief Tic-Tac-Toe models ever reproduced? If so when?

Yeah, I saw the quoted post but there are others who might have information on other models.

I've read that single cherry payout award cards are an indicator of reproductions. However, I have a Sun Chief with single cherry payout but it's clearly an original. Or is the single cherry issue only true with Mills machines?

Mills did have single cherry payouts but they did not start until around 1940. Jennings also had single cherry payout and on some machines even had a three cherry payout.
