That newer pace slot is worth 800 to 1000.
The 10 cent is not that popular with collectors.

If you are happy with the slot, it woks good, it's not a reproduction than you did good.
Keep reading this forum, educate your self and before you know it you will have a collection going, don't buy a slot because it may be a rare and valuable slot, buy it if you like it.

I have three 10ct machines
Mills Bonus, Jennings Chief and Buckley Criss Cross and I love them
10ct machines are actually not as common, so I feel are more collectable
Enjoy your Pace

What he said. 8)

We "paid too much" by most estimates for our chrome-y Harrah's Piggyback dollar machine, but it's remained our BIG FAVORITE since that day. We wouldn't sell it for double the amount we "overpaid." It's a hoot from top to bottom!

I like the look of your machine enough that I have a few Pace Genies in my collection, including a four reeler. Your choice of a dime machine may not be the most desirable to some collectors, however, there are reasons to like the dime machines. Ten cent machines typically get a bad rap due to the old silver mercury dimes wearing down with age. The changing coin size was responsible for making the machines less dependable.

I like dime machines because: When my nieces and nephews come over they cannot clog them up with the wrong size coin, only a dime fits in a dime machine, No other coins (Pennies, nickels and quarters) will fit. Betting a dime back in the day was a pretty big deal so fewer dime where made. And, I also suspect that there may have been a dime machine or two changed to quarter machines by some of the slot machine hacks, making original dime machines even more scares.

Do not be disheartened by some of the “EXPERTS” on this site. Your machine is original and looks to be in good condition.
