I wasn't sure where to post this so if it needs to be moved perhaps a Moderator can do so.
A friend and member of this forum recommended I try here for information on a slot machine I recently purchased. I've had a look around at the different threads and it isn't as old as what most people on here seem to be interested in but it is different. I'm hoping someone will have some information on it and as a long shot know if any diagrams or spare parts managed to survive.
According to a fellow I talked to in Reno the company that made it, Al-Don Manufacturing & Dist. in Reno, Nevada, went out of business in the late 1960's or early 1970's which would be the approximate vintage of this machine. According to him, from what he could remember, there were approximately 50 of these made.
It's a dollar machine and uses a hydraulic accumulator and ram to return the pull arm to its upright position. The reel strips are plastic and all the symbols are molded raised relief and not just printed onto the strips.
