Mills New Target Practice

Postby cpdretired » Fri Jun 21, 2013 6:03 pm

I just purchased a Mills New Target Practice. There is a lock but not a key. The lock has a stamped number of 33A5. Anyone have a lock for sale? I would guess that they are keyed differently.
The lock is approx 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" square. The key way projects 1/4" & is 1/2" in diameter.
Thanks,
Ron

A lock smith should be able to cut you a key, don't drill the lock out.

It's not locked. There's a locksmith not far from me. Any idea what he would charge for a key?

you got good advice never drill out. I have a supply of original mills keys, not the ones on slots, but the one used on
trade stimulators locks. A good lock smith can pick it open, and then work on these
keys to fit. will send you photo of key,
they read "Mills Novelty Co." other side Yale. need youe e-mail. Dancer Dan

Dan there is only one locksmith near me. I called about a week ago spoke with someone at the store. She took the message. He didn't even bother to return the call. Thanks for the offer. I will wait to the next Chicagoland show. There is one dealer there that is a locksmith. Thanks for the offer.
