I got one like that from A-1 Supply in Reno back in 1979, which was silk-screened. Looking through my old notes, it appears that the machine I was restoring then had an old and probably original eagle printed on silvered paper, something I've never seen since.
The very early machine I have now, has an original brushed stainless plate with the eagle etched into it, and relatively dark blue paint filling the etching. The paint color used seems to be a deco-period luminous blue, typical of the colors seen at the World's Fair that the model is associated with. Later they changed to a pastel light blue, and I've seen repro paper eagles in that color.
