Jennings Standard Chief 5 cent

Postby Mixer1 » Mon Dec 16, 2013 3:23 pm

Hello All,

I have a Jennings Standard 5 cent and would like to sell it. It still works great and is all original - even the coin box. The chrome is not perfect but it's still shines. As you know this guy is heavy. I live in Southern California. Yep, I'm new to this, have done the research and have an idea of what want for it. Shoot me an email with questions or offers.

Thanks
David

Ok, I am thinking aroung $1,400 for this machine. By the way the frame has the same serial number as the case, it's all original.

Hi David,

Is this still available? I am a newbie, live in Las Vegas, and think that the Jennings machines are a good place for me o start, thanks.

Many of us here, on this Forum, like to address the Newbies coming into our hobby, to "Please do your homework", before you
dive-in, unaware of what waits for the uneducated. Many have been 'Burned' much too soon, and have left the hobby as fast as
they came in.

Be very aware, when shopping for Jennings machines in Vegas. That is where a very large number of PHONIES are being thrown
together. Especially the 'light-up' models. Read all there is to read on this Forum, about BOGUS and REPRODUCTION machines
before you get into this hobby any further, as we don't want to see new collectors being Snookered by those Greedy Clowns. If
you have any questions, about a possible purchase, this is the place to ask.

Additionally: I am in no way referring to the above Jennings "Tic-Tac-Toe Chief", that you are asking about. It is a nice original.

And thank you Bill for confirming my Jennings is original and informing Bob and all of the problems in Vegas and other areas with Phonies.

Thank you

Thanks Bill for the advice, it is much appreciated to a new collector. Thanks as well to David for explaining the machine and for a nice, easy transaction. The kids like it, we're hooked!
