2 Mills Dials For Sale

Postby Dave » Wed Apr 16, 2014 9:50 am

I have two Mills Dials that I am looking to sell.

Make a "reasonable" offer and they are yours. If no one is interested then they will probably go on ebay next week.

All locks are replacements and neither one has a cash box but both have back doors which I believe are original. Both machines work including the reset dial on the back.

Red machine is a penny, blue machine is a nickel. I have lots more photos. Let me know if you are interested.

The machines have been repainted. I am not a Dial expert but I don't think they are painted to match how they came out of the factory.

I believe all the wood is original and not replacement but has been been restored.

I will sell one or both. If you take both I will give a better "deal". If I decide to go the ebay route I will show both machines and the winner of the auction will get their choice of machine.

Thanks for the emails about the Dials.

I have decided to let the market decide on value.

I just started the ebay listing. No reserve, starting price of $1.00

FYI, I offered the high bidder the other Mills Dial and he decided to buy it as well so both of them are gone.

I have another no reserve, $1 auction scheduled to start at 7:15 PM MDT tonight. This one is for either a penny (with Gold Award) or $.50 Castle Front (winner gets choice).

I you are interested and make a reasonable offer (I decide what is reasonable) before 7:10 PM MDT tonight then I will cancel the auction. I would rather not give hundreds of dollars to ebay.

$.50 machine has a replacement base.

This may be my last auction for a while. The collection is getting back under control.

I will post a link to the auction once it begins.
