The 'estimate' on the Treasury is $8,700 - $17,400
The Dewey "estimate" is $52,500 - $105,000
The Columba is $2,925 - $5,850
Typical government incompetence when it comes to pricing.

The worst of all, is that Phoney 'Piece-of-Crap' miniature so called 50c "Little Dewey".
Yeah 50c! Try English 1d. I have seen other miniatures that look rather good, but this
one is terrible. Fits into the same classification as the Vegas Butchershop.
On the other hand, the restored Mills "Dewey" is a real nice example. But not for the
fantasy-figure they think it's worth. I think they are in for a rather big surprise.

Are these auctions for real - years ago I tried to buy an upright and they said I couldn't even see it. It seemed it had nothing to do with the government. Has anyone gotten a deal from them?

I have been to REAL Govt. auctions held by the Govt. At a real Govt. auction there is no buyers premium. This one has a 19.5% buyers premium.

2400 for a penny treasury sounds within reason.
