A little too mcuh for me. I was surprised on the Morphy auction today they were in the 2k range. I didnt know about the auction until too late. I was surprised at auction they went for that price as I expect them to sell for the 10k range. Thanks though.

The prices on Character Slots, whether they are carved wood or fiberglass have always been all over the board at any given time.
It all depends on the appeal they have to the prospective buyer at the time. Also, the Only figures that are considered RARE, are
the original examples carved by the late Frank Polk. Period!
What is confusing to onlookers of the machine shown here, (by memories), is that there are two different prices. Three postings
list it as $6,400, and another at $8,500. If you "pick up only" at $6,400, it certainly doesn't cost an extra $2,100 to ship. Or does it? #-o
