Really nice hardly used Sega Mad Money Slot Machine Featuring Mad Magazine's Alfred E. Neuman on it's marquee and on its very vibrantly colored reel strips. It's a 10 cent machine with the rare visible jackpot feature. It was made for the American market as it has the "10 Cent" denomination badge right by the coin slot. The machine is a light up machine and plays and pays as it should. Very easy playing machine with a real good slow handle return pump. I've never seen such and absolute pristine interior on any totally original unrestored machine I've encountered in the last 45 years!! 33" High by 15" Deep by 16 " Wide. Displays beautifully!! $599.00!!! Pick up only in Rockland County, NY ***********MACHINE IS SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*********

Good day, Freddy!
As you appear to be the forum's Sega guru, I address my inquiry to you!
I have a 5c Diamond Star which has, frankly, seen better days (and came without lights) and I am of two minds regarding its resurrection.
It does, however, have the chrome star base plate of which I am especially fond.
Is this plate adaptable to other Segas (see foto)?
Thanks!

Hi,
When you say is it adaptable, they made several versions of the one's with live jackpots and then with the silver fronts that were non live jackpots, if you have one with the live jackpot, you would have to strip out the jackpot and front casting and replace it with a star front one, not very practicable as sadly Sega machines are not that collectable, I do not know why, because they were produced with original tooling from The Mills Novelty Company. I no longer collect, but I would buy the one shown here just to put it in my office/showroom.
