Just posted my latest video.

It is about the Mills HH Bonus with the Futurity Style cheating mechanism in it.

I also discuss how to sync the bonus mechanism to the reel bundle.

Thanks, doing a video on that machine has been on my todo list for a long time.

Hope to do a few more in the next few weeks.

Dave,
Although I have just three very basic slots in my collection(Bursting Cherry's), I really enjoy your in depth videos of the different manufacturers and models.
I have learned a great deal about how they operate, and what to look for to determine whether one is original or reproduction.
Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge of the hobby.
Best Regards,
Bob

Thank you to have done this video Dave.
This first BONUS is very popular in France. Many of them were exported by Mills in our country. I don't know why.

Thanks for the link to the photos. I see your machine has a variance award card. Very interesting.

What is the serial number on your machine?

No it isn't a variance. 1 Franc (french coin ) is more tickness than 25 cent US...
But now the award card is right...

Interesting question about the cheat mechanism. I have the early Bonus with the cheat mech, and it came with two additional stepper cheat wheels that had different cut outs to alter the chances of spelling the BONUS. One was fitted, the other 2 were hanging up on the inside of the cabinet. From what I can see the wheels have "dips" cut every 3rd and every 4th play. The one fitted has alternating.

Maybe previous owner had these other wheels from Futurity and used them to swap out the odds.

Those who don't own a Bonus Cheat mech are probably wondering what we're talking about.
