Bursting Cherry - completed project

Postby Shane » Sat Aug 10, 2019 10:31 pm

Just completed my first restoration. Thanks to everyone here that provided guidance along the way.

Both happy and sad to have it completed. The process was very enjoyable and interesting learning how these marvels work.

Looks great! Can you tell me what color you used for the blue? I think it looks closer to original than any other blue front bursting cherries that I've seen.

I used Rustoleum rattle can and the color is Nantucket Blue. I wanted a satin texture but this was only available in flat.

The yellow is a bit more pale than I wanted. I’m going to repaint it a more golden yellow color.
