Mills Lion Front

My latest project. I have the mechanism Gooseneck and jackpot de-rusted cleaned, lubed and reinstalled and working again. I had to re-nickel plate the gooseneck. It was so beat up and scarred I really didn't have much choice. It has the original tin real strips and they cleaned up pretty good with GoJoe. The award card looks OK. All original including the paint. It has a couple small chips around the jackpot inspection plate. What are your thoughts on taking some fine steel wool and cleaning up the aluminum, just to make it a little more presentable???

My opinion:
It looks absolutely great as-is.

IT'S AN ANTIQUE!
and this one has a great antique patina.
This is the way I would love to find them and I wouldn't do anything to it.
