mills 1931 war eagle jackpot payout

Postby bob88 » Fri Mar 04, 2016 7:00 pm

I have 1931 mills 10 stop 5 cent machine. When three bars are displayed it will pay 20 coins but the jackpot is'nt triggered. The payout slides don't have the jacpot post, is there another way the jackpot is triped?

There is no jackpot post on the early war Eagles. The jackpot trips off the the front of the top jackpot slide. There should be a piece on the jackpot that rests against the top slides that holds the jackpot closed until the jackpot is hit. Check the other side of the jackpot and make the the jackpot retaining lever, the one that holds the jackpot closed when you remove the mech, is pushed far enough forward the release the jackpot door. If it not pushed far enough forward the jackpot door will not open.

Here is what your jackpot should look like.
