slot machine stand lock bar guts
Posted: Sat Jun 18, 2016 1:58 pmI just couldn't stand having a lock bar with lock on my QT stand and no key. I am sure there are some old timers that have seen the inside of one of these, Not me. No big deal. Just use a 3/16 end mill and plunge cut out the 27 spot welds from the back thru the one detail. Now I can just re-key the lock, weld and paint. ( It looks to me like someone drilled thru the sliding bar that covers the access hole when the bar was in the lock position. I think I will weld that small hole up also.)
