I'll pat myself on the back big time...... I did all the work except the shaft to bracket welding, done by Leon at work.
1262 stop lever connection should have been thinner in each direction.
1254 push levers should have been thicker material.
1263 stop bar actually needed to have the holes off set a little , so it would be closer to the frame. #1 S.L.connection barely touches it.
all holes with a basic drill (not a drill press). all pieces that needed to be bent , were done using a heavy vice mounted on a sturdy table, & a hammer ! (and a little help with a 1/4 inch thick nut for the s.l. connections).
for the push levers, I made a templet to place on each metal pieces ,then etched around it. Then used a few different table top grinders to shape it to the etched lines. And again , bent in a vise.
micro blasted some of the parts. most of the cutting done on a band saw. all shaping with grinders.
much use with hand files for burrs.
shaft & spacers were stuff found a work in the "scrap pile". yep, a multi million dollar company ,& we have to make are own stuff from time to time.

Great work, and nice job! Kind of makes you want to have a small machine shop for those projects.
Slowly building a knowledge base on E2000 series Bally machines and J400 Jennings. Started with the antique Mills and Jennings. Getting there...

Looks awesome Neff great job and posting progress photos! You defiantly earned your Mills Merit Badge on this project!
Looking for survivor machines especially vendor fronts or original side vendors with or without
a machine. 1920's-30's goosenecks, round escalators. I enjoy hand painting the castings.

Thank you guys for the comments. since I also collect vintage military items, ect. ; yes a small machine shop would be nice.

I wish to thank Stephane And Al , for their work in helping me with this .... And both contributing info. on how to post photos here. Al was doing the behind the scenes help through forum P.M.s.

A photo I ran into, but for a front button skill stop system. note just the part #1263, stop bar ! funny bend on the left side, Which would work better for this one too ( even if it's not correct for the era ).

Hi JHSS-1944
=D> =D> =D> Congratulation, VERY nice Job!!!! =D> =D> =D>
Hope to see the Complete Roman Head nearly !!

For info:
There are 3 different Skill stop style!

The first: the Top Skill stop, your: FOk ,COK ,Poinsettia English Roman Head,….

Second: The Middle front skill stop, like your last Photo: Extraordinary, Roman Head , Front Castle,…
If I can, I will take the size for this second model .
Middle skill stop.jpg

The third :The Lower Front skill stop .More hard to find than the other .We can find it on the War eagle 50ç,The roman head 50ç ,.... ( two versions of Roman head and War eagle ,Middle and lower skill stop)
Lower skill stop.jpg

All parts are the same on the 3 versions except for the 1254-1262 and 1263.
If someone have the skill stop for lower front to sold, PLEASE, let me know!! I need one set or just the 1254 and 1262 .I will be able to complete my Roman head and make some nice schema !

After getting other things done , finally got around to making these skill stop parts = Version 2 type , for my British Extraordinary. few photos.
definitely much harder to cut & bend verses the first version. I need to find better rivets to connect the 2 pieces.
Also note part # 1263 (stop trip lever) not in these photos. I didn't make it till the next day.
