Looking for the colors match for the Golden Nugget half top . Anyone out here ever restored one and know how I could reproduce the color?

Dave:
Last job I did with Rust-O-Lium Dark Blue & Light Blue, I ran out in the middle, and had a
hell-of-a-time locating more Dark Blue. I called them, and they informed me that the color
had been discontinued, and the only available, would be old stock on store shelves. They
also said that the Light Blue has been discontinued, but still had a small amount remaining
in the warehouse. This is the color, appropriate for the "Nugget". No problem with the Gold,
it is still a stocked color.

Good evening Sam I feel your pain! I'm not a self professed expert by any means and am not old enough like they are to recall what an original finish looked like. With that disclaimer I would like to add my two bits worth (25 cents).

While not original by any means that Rustoleum hammered finish and their wrinkle finish rattle can finishes, if applied with some finesse, do represent some interesting and attractive finishes and contrast. Here are some close ups of both I used on an old Golden Falls I've been working on. If you like the way they look PM me or email me for the details. It would be great to help you!

Looking for survivor machines especially vendor fronts or original side vendors with or without
a machine. 1920's-30's goosenecks, round escalators. I enjoy hand painting the castings.

If you are looking for a more gold color try Hammerite. A deeper rich gold color. Cost a lot more though.
