Reel lubrication or another issue?

Postby mariahbay » Tue Jan 17, 2017 2:13 pm

Have had a Watling gooseneck 1c twin jackpot gumball vendor since 1973 that was restored 15 or so years ago, but hasn't been maintained since. Gets played occasionally. Just lately the reels don't spin with the same velocity and appear to stop nearly all at the same time. Is there a simple solution here or do I need professional help?

No expert but it's free to try some oil. I would think it would require oiling at least once a year. Use good quality oil like tri flo and don't use wd40
