Has anyone ever heard of a Centaur table top slot machine? Mine says Model 112, serial number

That's interesting! Please post pics of your machine.
The only "Centaur" Slot Machine that I know of, is the Victorian Upright floor model.

Looks like a secondary manufacturer. Notice the coin head is a Mills M-head which was used on Mills open fronts from the late 50's till about 1963. It also helps to determine when it was made which would have to be between 1964-1970's. I'd be leaning toward Ainsworth as the maker maybe British also.

actually a very interesting machine ! but noted the plastic gear also. short and wide....

The M head is coin entry piece , would be mid 1960's ,or 2nd of 3 versions by mills on their compact machines.
