Little Duke clock gear

Just discovered a badly worn gear in the Little Duke clock.
How do you fix something like this?
From what I can tell, most, if not all of the parts used inside the clock are not unique to the Little Duke.
My guess they were used in most of the other Jennings clocks. The part number that I'm looking for is DWL213CSP
That will definitely be an advantage if I have to find a replacement.

I'm wondering, are these gears pressed on the shaft or are they part of the shaft (Milled)?
Reason I'm asking this, I sent the two pictures below to a clock repair shop.
I asked them if they could pull the collar and gear off the shaft, turn the gear around, and then press it back on the shaft.
There appears to be enough good gear remaining If I could just get to it.
They are under the impression that the gear wasn't pressed on the shaft, it's part of the shaft.

Rick, there's no way that gear is one piece with the shaft.

Is the gear steel or brass?

It'd be almost impossible to machine the gear and then turn that shaft given the length. You might have better luck just "bumping" the gear up the shaft a bit to get the good teeth to engage with the driven gear.

Definitely a separate part. heating the gear might give it enough play to move on the shaft with little effort.

Oldslotman, that's it.
This morning I was able to get the gear pulled, turned around and put back on.
It seems to be working fine.
I want to thank everyone.
Knowing I was covered if I screwed this part up gave me the confidence to pull that gear and fix it.
