In my ongoing research to find the history of my Puck machine, I was looking through some back issues of The Coin Slot magazine.
In the December 1977 issue, I found an article written by Gil Folsom out of Denver.
The article is titled: SECRETS REVEALED ON HOW TO TURN OUT TOP NOTCH RESTORATIONS
At the end of the article is a photo of a guy standing next to three upright slots, one being a Puck. See first photo below.
The Puck caught my eye and then the wallpaper did as well. That wallpaper looks the same as in the picture Bueschel used in two of his 100 Slot Machines books. See second photo below.
I believe the Puck machine in the picture Dick used in his books is my machine.
Looking at the Puck machine in the photo in the article (I know it's a stretch), but the same light discoloration that was on my unrestored Puck appears to be there.
If you haven't read my reasons why I thing that is my Puck in Dick's pictures, see PDF below.

Now that I said all that, I have some questions for you guys.
Is Gil still around?
Does anyone know/knew Gil and can tell me anything about him and the Puck in the pictures?

Rick
