Hi, I have been informed by the owner of a mills poinsettia that the skill stop buttons were added by owners to overcome gambling laws at the time and that they were for show and had no linkage to the system they just pushed down and pressed on the reel to stop it, IS THIS CORRECT or am I being fed a load of.....
Thanks...

Hi thanks for your reply, I am interested in buying this machine and the skill stops are mounted on top and when you push them it's basically a steel button / plunger which presses on top of the reel is this correct?

They do not just press on top of the reels to stop them.

Thank you all for your help, I am an engineer by trade but I am a total novice with regards to mech fruit machines, I am assuming that to obtain these parts would be very difficult, is their anyone out their that makes them as I do not have the facilities..

Generally if these show up on ebay they tend to be very expensive.
Steve Squires may have some of this kind of stuff but again be prepared to pay .
Good luck with your search !
