Posted: Fri Feb 22, 2019 4:02 pmThe hook is proper. It works only if you raise that side of the machine. It moves to stop the timing lever from finishing it's cycle. You can check it by cycling the machine outside of the cabinet and tipping it before all the reels stop. If working correctly it should stop the timing lever. If it sticks add a drop of oil to the screw area till it is loose.
