Hello. We just purchased a vintage Jennings challenger and are not familiar with slot machine operation. How do you empty excess coins from this machine? Thank you.

There are no coin bags. There are coins in the front windows and in the tubes. The front windows are full. Is there a way to empty the front windows? Thanks for your help!

I am very familiar with this Jennings machine. Send me a PM to let me know where you are located. But there are 2 type of these machines, a fully mechanical machine and a electromechanical one. Either way, to dump the coin tube you can re move the mech and dump it. But the mechanical one has the coins in a JP mech. The EM machines window is just for show and when a JP is hit, it dumps out a predetermined amount by a solenoid and on the average 100 coins or pull ins by the coil.
Feel free to contact me with a PM with you phone # and I will call you... I have been at this for a few days and i can be and willing to help always.
