I have an AC Multi-bell that was restored by Squires and Corrie some time ago.
It has a top Marque that is original with instructions on how to play, not sure if the reprinted wording is Original but it sounds right?
These are great fun to play, my Nickel machine has never had a coin jam.
I always think they are similar to Paces races, play wise, as there are 7 fruits to bet on instead of seven horses.
It is almost impossible to win a jackpot on this, as there are lots of non paying fruits like grapes, Apricots and pineapples.
Mine is the counter top Bell, The rare Console version is from a collection in LA, I copied a picture from the COCA website.

wounder if these had jamming issues ,hence many tossed out after use. don't seem to be that many around today.

I don't think they had jamming issues. I think the issue was the combos they paid on were confusing as hell and people didn't like that so they didn't play them.

I have looked at the guts of a few of them and they look very well built.

The AC Multi-Bell is one of my favorite machines. I currently own three (1 cent, 5 cent skill and 25 cent) and have restored many others over the past thirty years. I noticed the one cent machine pictured is missing all the reel strips. If any one has one needing strips I can help with that. I have made quality reproduction strips in both 3/5 and 2/5 pay. I know this is a long shot but just in case please know they are available.

What's happening inside that console? Is there a regular table top machine in its case just sitting inside the console? I sure looks like it judging from the parts of the table top case you can see at the top of the console.
