Mills slot keys

Postby grapeman » Fri Feb 17, 2017 11:56 am

I recently acquired several Mills slot keys....all keys have numbers. How do these numbers relate to the locks as the locks do not have numbers. Is the only way to see if a key will work on a specific lock is to try it....
So I guess my question is, what are the numbers on the keys for?

Original Mills locks and keys have matching numbers.
Many have been "retumbled" so they work with non-matching numbered keys.
I believe Dave@ Mr Slot Parts can rework them for you if needed.
