I would like to ask someone about a mills slot machine. My friend sent me a picture of a slot machine for sell. They said it was a 1920s mills operator owl bell. I had him ask what the serial number was, which I thought was on the right side top casting. They said they could not find one there, so the question I would like to ask is could it be in another place? Another thing I noticed is I don`t see any nails on the wood base front. I don`t know if they reproduced these or not. I would appreciate any info and I Thank You for you time!

It is a Mills Operators Bell. Being a 25C machine is a plus. Also check the date on the right side of the bell, that tells you the model year of the machine. My memory is getting bad but I think the model ran from 1915-1925. I may be off a yr or two. These machines were 20 pay max no jackpot, but were converted later to jackpot pay. This one is original as made.

Because the uprights area of the forum is where people discuss uprights.
