Caille Sphinx restoration observations

The original flyer pictured has a machine with a lot of green on the castings, yet all the ones I have seen for sale are predominantly yellow.
I have done mine to closely resemble the machine in the flyer.
Anyone know why many surviving examples seem to have the yellow?
How can Caille claim to have made a bell "as silent as the Stars" and yet they have the two Plumb Bobs in the coin head that clatter against the coin head back plate every time the machine is cycled. Not a great design of tilt mechanism, for sure. No wonder these machines flopped against the Mills Silents!!
