Hopefully it goes through this time. I`m new here and would like some advice. I decided that I want to get a slot machine and found a 1926 mills 25 cent poinsettia. They said it has been professionally restored, has original cash box & keys. Asking price is $1200.00 Does this sound like a good deal? I read on one of the previous post (mills liberty bell slot) somebody said that goosenecks are generally speaking not a very desirable slot. I also understand there is a lot of reproductions out there. They sent me pictures, which I enclosed, but I just want to have some kind of idea before I go look at it. I would appreciate any advise someone can give me. Thanks ahead of time.

The machine is actually a Mills Owl (not a Poinsettia). It is also called a Operators Bell and Automatic Salesman.

The base looks new (not original) because I can't see any nails.

I suspect the sides are also new but can't tell by looking at the pictures.

Without more photos there is no way to provide any more comment on the machine itself.

If you go to www.AntiqueSlotMachinePriceGuide.com and search for this machine you will see the $1,200 price is inline with what they typically sell for.
