Mills Black Cherry pay issue

Postby PDX shane » Sat Jul 21, 2018 10:06 am

My Mills Black Cherry has a couple of non-winning combinations that pay two coins. I've attached a couple of pics - the first shows the combination Orange-Orange-Lemon. It paid two coins. The 2nd pic shows the payout levers which appear to me to be appropriate - the first lever (Cherry lever) is unmoved, the second lever (Orange lever) is through two payout discs.

Any advice on why this pays and how I can adjust would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Your pay finger is towed in at the bottom which causes the finger to hit the horizontal pay lever for 2 cherry pay. Pull the mech and hand cycle it. Line up the orange symbols just like it is in the pic and watch the machine cycle. You will see the lower horizontal finger get hit and release the two coins. You have to bend the bottom of the orange pay finger back to stop it from hitting the cherry lever and it should stop the random 2 pay problem.
