Pay delay - Mills Black Cherry

My Black Cherry has always paid correctly and right after the 5th click. Recently it is paying one or two coins and either needing a slight bump or wait until next coin is played to complete the payout. Perhaps the slides are sticking a bit?
Appreciate any advice on how to fix.

First thing to do is to clean the payout slides and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply. Should they be cleaned with a solution or just dry cloth? I know they are not to be oiled.
