Hello everyone;
the question would be , who actually made the lower castings for the Early Jennings operator bell revamps ?
shown is the machine straight from Jennings.

also this one found the other day. looks to be "the vending machine co. " named.
note p.o. cards centered ,not off set. lower is wood & no bars over j.p.
I might have a few others .....
but my point is , who made the Lower castings for ALL of this companies ?? basically look the same. and not all of these companies are in the same location.
have seen at least 1 more with out a name on it . the area was painted blue.
find any others , Please add them here.

I have this machine which is similar to the first picture you posted, but mine is clearly marked indicating it was made by the Silver King Novelty Company
It is a Jennings top casting but also has Silver King on it along with decals indicating Silver King on the top glass and both sides of the wood.
It has the original award card but nothing to indicate Silver King on the Award card

Here's one you don't see much pictured here below!
This lower casting was made by a company called PNC sometime about 1929 to 1932, I believe!
This one is unique because in some ways it copies the Mills Poinsettia lower casting with other artistic additions!
There were many companies that after the first front jackpots appeared feverishly started making these revamp lower front castings as no one wanted to play a slot machine without a front jackpot.
Everyone wanted a "Piece of the Action"!
Some of these companies were Roberts, Keeney & Sons, Keystone Novelty, Buckeye, B & D Novelty, Etc. just to name a few as companies came and went very quickly doing this and this revamping process was rather short lived as all the primary companies started making slots with front jackpots!
Single jackpots, then with reserve jackpots and even Triple Jackpots like the Jennings Little Duke!
Anyway, thought I'd throw in my pennies worth for laffs and giggles!
Ciao!
