Can anyone tell me what I have or the history of this?

New to the coin op machine world. But I ran across this at a sale and picked it up. It was a good price 150 bucks. I see them on eBay for 5 to 800 of this is not some kind of knock off. I love the colors mint green and ivory. The key will turn the screw in lock on the bottom but its one digit off on the key code for the top so it will not work. Not sure if I can get a key for it or not. I can remove the pins so the key just turns. The penny slot works well. the Mechanism turns find and drops the penny into the bottom.

It's a Master. Great machine. The porcelain on yours looks nice. The made variations. . Penny ones are most common. Others took a penny or a nickel. A nickel got you 5 turns. Color variations too. I've see white , also red and black
Nice machine to start a collection. $150 is a fair price. Always nice to have the original key and lock.

Any competent locksmith should be able to pick the top lock and make a key.

Oops, though you had a working key. You can try pulling the key in and out while turning gently turning the key counterclockwise.
Also look on YouTube about picking locks. The lower lock is actually like loosening a bolt. So when picking it "locks" every 1/4 or 1/2 turn.
Not as tough as it sounds.

The key works in the coin lock. It does not work in the top screw cap lock. Also what year was this produced and what is the value of it?

You got this one off ebay correct you can find replacement locks but havent seen any sell for as high as you quoted. I have seen them go go for about $200 in great condition and not painted they were originally porcelain coated with glass sides.
