Need company that can re-cast some parts for Four Jacks

Postby MikeB » Mon Jul 08, 2013 5:40 pm

I have a Four Jacks machine I bought from a family here in Michigan about 15 years ago that had it in their basement. Somebody had removed some of the internal cast parts, and never replaced them. I did not get these parts with the machine, and I couldn't make them understand what they should look for in the basement. So, that machine has sat as-is on a show shelf ever since.

Anyway, I now have another original Four Jacks, and want to temp remove and send out the parts I need recast, and have them all returned to me safely, originals and duplicates.

Anybody know a good company that I can trust with that?

Thanks!

Mike

Has anybody used "Leerock Foundry" in California? How did they do? Here's their webpage below:

73 views and not one person has any input on a foundry that can cast a few missing parts for a 4 Jacks, so I can complete one?

I have used Leerock Foundry for many years. They will do a good job, return your original and turn the job around quickly. You should build the edges up before you send the part if shrinkage is of concern. You can talk to them about that.

Thanks Watlingboy, I appreciate your input! I'll check with them when I'm ready to get this done.
