Call the cops and contact a lawyer, before the tracks get erased or cold.

I'm trying to just buy this back without involving the police.

The last thing I want is to give my grandmother a heart attack over this since the person moved himself in with her and it'll probably put her in the grave. :(

If you still don't believe me, that's fine. I hope no-one on here has to go through it. Document your valuables before you get sick.

How long ago did this machine sell on eBay? If it is still in the completed listings, (which I don't have time to scan
at this time), I may be able to identify the buyer, and if I know him, can make contact. He may not be a member
of this Forum, and know what is going on. That's about all I can do at this point.

Here's the item number: 131723305133

I believe it ended on 2/8. The listing isn't showing an end-date, so that's my best recollection. If you do or don't know the buyer, please all I ask is that they're not pressured to give it up. They're not the guilty party of course. If by chance you know them and they want to flip it, please let me know. I appreciate it

I believe what you are saying. I have a family member who has stolen from us as well. I know that pain. Feel free to contact me off-line at GMari2@verizon.net
As I also live in nj, I would be happy to
Go to the shop and make the purchase. Then give the machine back to you. Chances are though they have it for sale for a lot more than $2,300.
No doubt drugs are involved. Find a Naranon meeting. It will save your life.
George

The shop already sold it. It's out of their possession. At this point, I'm only hoping the new owner has an interest in selling. Thanks

It's purely leeching and about money, not drugs. Appreciate your support.

Well, as luck would have it, I do not know the seller. Being as the machine had no physical bids, and was sold
as a 'Best offer accepted', I can not pin-point a possible buyer at this point.
You may want to take George up on his offer. That may be your best solution. Good luck.

Whoops! had to re-edit.
Your above post came in while I was submitting mine. This machine has sure been moving around a lot
in just a few days. Which translates to the price escalating.

collector;

Fatman is on right track;
as a former Elder Law attorney,
recommend you contact an Elder Law Firm;
NOT the kind that pumps out wills and trusts on assembly line basis,
but the kind that litigates contested estates/conservatorships/guardianships.
Unless, of course, you are willing to allow the remainder of her assets to disappear and her income to be drained away.
