Hello,
I'm new here. I have a question about some metal strips which have come into my possession. They are the metal strips (loops) upon which the questions and answers are printed, which were installed in the coin operated scales that stood near the front door of stores in the 30's and 40's. These loops are 3 inches wide and maybe 2 feet long. There are holes along each edge of the strips presumably to fit onto a revolving wheel. I have 12 of them. How can I establish a value for these item?
I think that these are left over from a scales that sat in my grandfather's drug store. Is there a market for these items?
