jennings prospector serial number question

Hi All

I have one of the above and would like to know if its genuine $1 prospector or been changed from a smaller denomination?
Mine is serial 165394.
I have looked in bueshels slots volume 3 with all the Jennings serials and no mention of the prospector although the serial is only few hundred out of a $1 standard chief.
Anyone have more details???
