Las Vegas Victorian Casino Auction

Postby rogers1313 » Fri Mar 17, 2006 10:31 pm

I attended the auction this weekend. There were approximately 150 people in attendance. Ebay Live auction folks were there along with phone bidders.
There was one fellow there that was trying to stock a firehouse that he had purchased in New York area. His plan is to turn the firehouse into an arcade and a candy store. It maybe for his own personal use. I am not sure.
He was the high bidder on a Deco StyleCandy Vendor for a theater Item number 773. This went for $45000. He was the high bidder on at least one strength tester. This was item 255 and went for $19000.

There was a Caille Musical Puck. This look very nice. It went for $22500.
A Bally Reliance Dice machine. $13,500

One that I thought was a significant find was number 761, a 1 cent Reel-O-Ball, baseball trade stimulator with original box. This machine was described as un-restored and in perfect condition. It went for about $10,500

There were 1000 items auctioned in two days. It was a lot of fun. There were many more items. If you would like more detail about them, I might be able to answer your questions.

Roger:

Thanks for the update.

How much was the buyer's premium? I assume it was 10% and 15% if purchased on E-Bay.
