Has anyone ever used Collectibles Insurance Agency?

Postby Dave » Thu Aug 03, 2006 9:16 pm

I just heard from a guy who got a couple of machines stolen in the Houston area (Rol-A-Top and Castlefront).

That got me to think that I might want to get additional insurance for my collection.

I am thinking about using Collectibles Insurance Agency (http://www.collectinsure.com/).

Has anyone ever used them? They told me they have been around since 1966 and are underwritten by Hartford Insurance.

Their rates don't seem too bad and they have some pretty nice features. For example, they cover shipping and you only have to provide them a schedule of machines that are valued above $5,000.

I would really like to hear from someone who has them and has made a claim.

If there is another company that you know of which insures antique coin-op I would like to hear about it.

Thanks
