The forum turns 12 years old today

Your initial post 12 years ago was concise and simple:
"This forum is for anything related to coin operated devices."

Don't let the SOBs get you down when we get off track;
this forum has been an immense positive contribution to the hobby and is currently a gold mine of information.

I think in your first poll,
you asked "Is this forum worthwhile or a waste of time?"
The vote was 100% worthwhile with a grand total of 8 members voting.
I'm sure the poll results would be the same today:
100% worthwhile, only with a whole lot more participants!

Can't believe the Forum has been going 12 years already. Thank you for all of your hard work, to keep
this site in high gear. It has been a pleasure to participate with the vast amount of collectors that chat
on a regular basis. It brings back the memories of when the late Dick Bueschel and I spent tons of hours
on the phone, talking coin-op history, and mailing documents & photos back and forth via snail-mail, as
it was before the internet graced our presence.

I also notice here, how many Congrats you have received from our collectors across the pond. It is a real
pleasure to have all of you join us here in the U.S. We have met many new collectors along the way.

Keep up the good work Dave. We all appreciate your efforts.

When you are in a hobby as enjoyable as this, we are all teenagers, right?
Going into retirement just introduces us into our second childhood.
