Watling twin jackpot

Postby Denny » Fri Nov 04, 2016 10:04 am

Is this machine missing the part or linkage that feeds the jackpot every 5 coins. It sold on eBay in July for $ 2800. Has what looks like a hole drilled into cabinet on right side near the base I wonder what this was for?

Hello
Whaaaoou ,2800$ for this !! It s crazy !!
You are right ,missing all the parts for 5th coins to the jackpot and some other missing parts ! The Mech base is also broken .
For the hole on the wood , No Idea !! I think that just the guy who drill it know why !! There is nothing behind this hole , no mechanism , no coins ,no cashbox ,just wood . :roll:
So , 2800$ is too too high for this !

damikeguy;
very nice looking machine, nice restoration done. to bad I'm not going to the show.

now ,some one needs to show Denny what he's missing on his machine, so it makes sense to him (& others). hopefully he can find some of those parts. base being broken .... another story.

Thanks for the replies.

I was curious about this machine. $2800 is a lot of money for a machine that's missing parts and has a broken base. I think there's a story behind this machine that made potential buyers want to bid on
It on eBay. (32 bids)

My guess on the hole is the machine was dropped at sometime and the base the mech sits on and the neck base both broke.. then bubba drilled a hole in cabinet and bolted in a L bracket to hold that corner up. If you bought it PM me and I can help you fix that corner.
Looking for survivor machines especially vendor fronts or original side vendors with or without
a machine. 1920's-30's goosenecks, round escalators. I enjoy hand painting the castings.
