Hello All,

I have attached two photos (front and back view) of the lock and key.

As for where I am located,....hmmmmm. I am currently on contract in China (I had the Mills shipped here so I could work on it during the cold winter nights). I took the lock and key to a couple of real locksmiths in Australia (where I used to live) while on a short holiday. I am originally from Ohio and still have family there. I am willing to post the lock to anyone/anywhere that can repair it.

Gotta love living in the 21st Century!!

Regards,

Marc

Mills keys came in two different lengths which were used in different mills locks. The key you have there maybe the wrong length key for that lock. The console locks are a little bit shorter in length than the backdoor locks. Dave at mrslots1.com can most likely rekey it for you.

The console locks and backdoor locks are different and will not interchange.

2nd that at Dave at mrslots1.com he is very knowledgable with mills worm cut lock
I dont have an extra one of those locks . As I recall that chrome lock was a model specific lock though the other style mills lock would work just fine for your application.

Looking for survivor machines especially vendor fronts or original side vendors with or without
a machine. 1920's-30's goosenecks, round escalators. I enjoy hand painting the castings.

There was also a chrome lock made for the backdoor. I think is was used on the early War eagles. Make sure it is the right lock. It is a little shorter barrel and the barrel sits a little lower than a backdoor lock.

Hello All,

Looks like I may have found a replacement lock, thanks to Coin Op Collector Forum and Richard! I would still be interested in repairing the original lock, so I may contact
Dave, who was mentioned in a few of the posts.

Thanks for your help.
