1937 10cent Jennings silver chief

Postby Denny » Mon Jun 26, 2017 10:58 am

Here's a machine I have my eye on. Seller states machine was converted from 1 cent to a 10 cent machine. Also stated it works on his posting but is currently jammed and handle knob looks wrong. Dont know if jackpot works or if any missing parts. Seller had some offers but no takers. Seller wants $600. See any problems with it?

Thanks

Denny:
Machine appears to be a nice original, and complete, from what I can see. The handle knob is incorrect, but replaceable.
Even though many dime machines are notorious for having jamming problems, because of the thin coinage, they are also
fixable, with some minor adjustments. At a price of $600, it is a very good buy. And if you can talk that down, even better.

On the other hand, if you don't want the machine, I am in California, and would be interested.
