I had purchased 30 of the late '70's Jennings 400 slots from Alan Sax some years ago. Planned on restoring them to make them all work properly, but never did, and eventually sold them to the Fox Studios a couple of years ago. They wound up being used in a movie "Bad Times At The El Royale" that was released in Oct. 2018. So not technically antique like the slots we are accustomed to (well, maybe they
ARE considered antiques today!) they ended up as props in a "Reno" casino scene in the movie and were also used as backdrops in most of the rest of the movie. In this scene, you can see every machine being played - even though none of them are really functional - and the scene would have you believe it was a legit casino. The Jennings 400's have motor driven reels so they could make them spin, and the lighting was added (along with the graphics) by the studio to match set lighting. Click the link below.
