Looking for silver dollar coins, not too rare. Finally got that long sought after Jennings Dollar Machine. Natch, it comes with no coins. Ha! Found out why, the cost of silver is added in. So my question is where can I get about 100 dollar coins at a fair price? Most of the spots that I can Google look way too high, like from coin collectors. Thanks for any suggestions.

use Ike dollars.

I concur. Ike $ are $125-130 shipped in groups of 100 on eBay. Cheaper if you can find them at a larger bank. Silver $ will be "culls" with no numismatic value and still cost around $300 or so per roll of 20. Can always put 20+ silver dollars in the jackpot (1922 Peace or 1921 Morgans). Those common dates are $18-20 each in nice condition.

My wife's favorite machine (a Pace "Piggyback" from Harrah's Reno) requires two Ike-sized coins for each pull of the handle, so instead of hoarding old currency, we got a whole bunch of dollar tokens from various casinos. If you search eBah using "dollar slot machine tokens," you'll almost always find sellers offering bags of such tokens at relatively reasonable prices compared to Ikes, for which they invariably charge a premium. Watch out though: there can be some slight variability in the thickness and/or diameter of tokens from one casino to another, and I ended up installing some (removable) thin shims into the coin entry for clearance on some of the randomly slightly thicker ones. Also, some of those tokens are pretty eye-catching and rather interesting to look at in all their various artful inscriptions and metal claddings, which adds a little extra entertainment value in its own right.
