With the upcoming new year I think all the members here should make an effort the get at least one person interested in collecting old coin op, whether it be slots or other machines. We need the interest of the younger people. We are losing many of the older ones and need someone to replace them. For a start I'm am donating a Mills Black Cherry to a grade school that my grandkids attend. The donation is for their annual fund raising event which is dinner and auction. Most of the people attending, about 350 people, are in the 30 to 40 age group and I'll bet most of them have never seen or played an old vintage antique slot machine. The machine will be displayed with many coins around so the machine can be played by those interested before the auction begins. Hopefully some of those in attendance show some interest in the machine. What the machine will sell for, who knows. It maybe a great chance for someone to get a machine at a great price.
