Shipping to Alaska

Does anyone have experience shipping from the lower 48 to Alaska ?
I just tried a fedex ground calculator and it said no can do .

Depending on the size of the box, try the Post Office. I have shipped stuff to Alaska from Ohio before. Go to USPS.com.

Well this is for a slot machine , will the USPS ship items as large as these ?

As per the usps shipping calculator :
Large Package Properties
The weight entered exceeds the 70 lb (31.751 kg) max. weight limit for shipping through the United States Postal Service.

Not saying it's the best or the cheapest method

But whoever you use, you could ship as x2 items
e.g. ship mech in one box and cabinet in another?

I know that some sellers certainly pack that way
to reduce transit damage regardless of shipping
or courier weight constraints
