Last year I sold 24 Jennings slots to a movie producer who wanted them for a casino-related movie, to be used as props. I wanted to build a Casino-Wall" in my game room, but never got to that project, so out they went. These were late 60's - early 70's Jennings 400's that I purchased from Alan Sax years ago.

Looks like the studio came thru. Check it out. Here's the trailer for an upcoming movie with my machines, modified to work in their set. Bad Times At The El Royale will be released in October, a movie about a casino placed right on the California-Nevada border. It has a line running right thru the middle of the casino where you can cross over between the two states. Couple of scenes in the casino showing my babies:

Actually, I was planning on putting 12 of those machines back-to-back in a section of my game room, but when I realized how much room it'd taken, I nixed the idea. So they stayed, stacked up, until a producer put out a feeler post looking to rent some machines. I originally planned to rent them, but the transportation cost was excessive (going from Colorado to Canada) so the studio just asked if I'd sell them. They first wanted 8, then asked for the whole enchalada...probably figured they'd use them for another stage set up the road. Either way, I freed up some serious space.

I still have five left, need to fit them in the current game room somehow.

Looks like this casino may be loosely based on the CAL-NEVA Lodge in Crystal Bay at North Lake Tahoe as the stateline cut thru the casino as well!
And the Cal-Neva history is full of intriguing stories from it's inception with the mob, then thru its Frank Sinatra era and lastly but not least thru its period owned by Ronald V. Cloud as Cloud's Cal-Neva!
See link below for a little Cal-Neva history!
