I have been collecting WWII Rifles for many years. I am the guy that they come to for verification of the markings on the Stocks. I also found this in Wisconsin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4fhm2Kwgc8 and published a story about the myth many years ago. Was just published again this week about the find. I am one of the lucky ones to have a Barn Find. Rick B

I just purchased my first slot machine.
It's a 1938 Mills Bursting Cherry Brown Front in very nice original condition.
I am thrilled with it!

Welcome to the forum please see if you can upload some photos of it and the mechinism too! Also include things like the serial number so someone can help nail down a better date. Anything else cool about it like it was full of buffalo nickels?
We love the details and any history.

To get more input you need to post some good low resolution photos. The old guys on this forum like me are not visual than cerebral lol!! They need to look and see then cogitate on a response it's sort of like slot porn here rather than gun porn on the firearm forums.

Somehow, I must have missed the changeover, or are just plain loosing it!
This thread originally started off as talking about how many machines collectors had, and which ones. Not the case any longer. Think
of the people just discovering our Forum, and finding a subject they are interested in, only to have it go off in another direction. Some
may loose interest, and not continue. We need people reading as much as they can fathom. Especially when being warned about Fake,
and Reproduction machines.
I had always thought the main jest of this Forum, was to talk coin-op, and it's history, and to help one another with their problems,
and questions. Especially the newbies. Many of these threads have vaulted off into new horizons, and are becoming so mixed up, that
it is getting harder to look back at certain subjects. I have found myself changing the subject at times, and don't like to take that route.
Now this thread has wandered off into "slot porn" and "gun porn". Where could that possibly go? I don't want to know! [-X
Might I suggest starting a new thread called "Talking about Absolutely Nothing". That way, I can just click on 'Delete', and go about the
more important subjects. :D

Slot or gun porn???

Huh? I must have missed those posts. :-D

I don't see anything wrong with a new collector posting a message in this particular thread talking about his machine. Remember, all collections, no matter how big or small started with one machine.

You should add your machine and the serial number to the coin op registry (http://www.CoinOpRegistry.com). Be sure and also include a picture. :)
