How many trade stimulators are in your collection?

I thought it might be interesting to do a simple poll to see how many machines people own. If you respond to the poll, your answer will NOT be displayed with your id.

I define a trade stimulator as a machine that does not pay out coins or tokens when you win something.

I will run another poll for slot machines.

Eighteen trade stimulators. Dave some do pay out tokens but I would not consider them slots.

Imp (dispenses gum)
Duck Hunter (shoots pennies and dispenses gum)

I guess I probably have 3 that you would call trade stimulators. Although by your definition I have more. I have 2 baby grands that dispensed plastic beads with tickets in the hole of the beads (and 4 boxes of the beads). I also have several oak premieres that were upgraded to a 10 cent mech and dispensed trading cards (also modified to be used as tickets). And a couple others used in a way that they were not intended for.

Fortytwo:
Welcome to our Forum. You definitely qualify for One, in which you have much more than half a machine.
What you have, is a Groetchen "Mercury". What I see missing so far, is the nameplate above the reel window,
coin entry casting, (which is most likely 1c), although they did make them in 5c play as well. The round knob
for the play arm, small outer casting for the token-pay exit, and the back door. If you have any of the parts I
mention, that is a plus. The hardest part to find, will be the knob. Every so often, a coin entry casting will
turn up on eBay. One of our Forum members, has made recast doors for this machine in the past, but not sure
if he has any in stock at this time. As far as paint color, most of this model were done in Green Hammertone.
There were a few other colors. Some were Tu-tone. Hopefully your mechanism is complete, and working.
Good luck with your new project. Any other questions, feel free to ask.

I have just changed the poll to allow users to change their vote. Therefore, if they buy or sell machines they can change their vote to accurately reflect how many machines they own.
